Wolves Updates 7/23

Veteran Troy Hudson and the Timberwolves are negotiating a contract buyout, Bill Neff said Sunday, and the agent promised to offer the team a follow-up proposal this week.

On the negotiations:

The agent approached the Wolves early last week and said Hudson would be open to a buyout at a fair price. The Wolves responded with a buyout offer of about half the almost $19 million remaining on Hudson's deal.

Neff said the offer was too low, and Hudson's camp hadn't responded. Neff said he plans to make another proposal to the team this week.
