Wolves Updates 7/21

Rick Alonzo/Pioneer Press on the investigation into NBA ref Tim Donaghy:
It's not known whether any Wolves games were among those allegedly compromised. Minnesota went 4-2 in games Donaghy officiated over the past two seasons.

The Star Tribune has a list of those games.

From Tom Powers/Pioneer Press:
Unfortunately, the evidence against Donaghy appears to be damning, and we need to look no further than right here in Minnesota. In retrospect, we should have realized something was up. A quick check shows that Donaghy worked six Timberwolves games over the past two years, the period during which he is alleged to have bet on games.

He called three games last season and three the year before. The results? The Wolves won four out of six! Clearly the fix was in.

Tom Elliott/St. Cloud Times on Ricky Davis:
After stops in Charlotte, Miami, Cleveland and Boston, it's safe to say he's grown up a lot since his Iowa days.

Mark Madsen on Davis:
A lot of people may not realize it, but Ricky's really a good guy.
