Updates Part II

From CelticsBlog:
There is a rumor going around that Ryan Gomes might get cut by the TWolves and sign back with the Celtics...

Kevin McNamara/the Providence Journal on Ryan Gomes:
Gomes was the Celtics’ community award winner for his efforts in helping the franchise reach out to the New England area. Rich Gotham, the team’s president and a PC alumnus, said that losing Gomes “hurts me personally. He is the type of person we want representing the Celtics.”

From Shira Springer/Boston Globe:
If Rondo does not progress as quickly as expected, the Celtics will need someone who can distribute the ball to their big three. Brevin Knight, Juan Carlos Navarro, Keith McLeod, and Gary Payton come to mind. And Garnett might push for former teammate Troy Hudson. The Timberwolves have agreed to buy out his contract, which would make him a free agent.
