More takes on the KG rumors
According to Kare 11, Steve Aschburner points out that though Danny Ainge and Kevin McHale are former teammates who have made deals in the past, the rumored deal with the Celtics would be less likely to happen than deals with the Bulls, Suns, or Lakers "where long term stays are possible."As for all these reports about trade talk, Aschburner says "If they (Timberwolves) just sat on this, and let Garnett's contract run out, or let him head into free-agency next summer and lose him for nothing, they'd be derelict in their duties."
Ultimately, Aschburner believes Garnett will still be with the Wolves next Fall.
