The Garnett scenario is deemed a long shot because sending Amaré Stoudemire to the Timberwolves is not an option.

As we exclusively reported on our podcast last week, the Timberwolves definitely seem to be leaning towards Spencer Hawes. They would also strongly consider Corey Brewer of Jeff Green, but Hawes seems to be their man.

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Marko Jaric was the the center of attention on Monday as newly-appointed Serbia coach Zoran Slavnic gathered his first Blues squad to prepare for this year's FIBA EuroBasket in Spain.
Jaric, who missed the FIBA World Championship last year and looked to have fallen out of favor after their failure at EuroBasket 2005, was unable to hide his joy at being back in the fold.
