Non-Iverson Updates

Marko Jaric says he's "not happy" about his playing time, but Coach Casey says he's not necessarily going to increase his minutes:
"No. We're going to keep the same rotation," Casey said before Friday's game. "Dogs bark, and the caravan moves on. The only thing I go by is their play. But Marko did a great job on Tracy McGrady."

Mad Dog says he'll be out for a couple weeks with his shoulder injury.
He had a magnetic resonance imaging exam Thursday and said there was no rotator cuff damage, though his labrum was "tweaked."

Garnett remains at #5 in this week's SI.Com/Kelly Dwyer's player power rankings.

Stephen Litel/SportsPage Magazine believes "the Timberwolves are close to determining who they are as a team."

The Rockets are requesting the league review the technical Yao Ming received in Tuesday's game for "taunting" after a dunk.
"I said something," Yao said, "but it was not in English."
"If (Kevin) Garnett can do that in the fourth quarter, why give me that?" Yao said. "Maybe the referee is used to that I don't yell."

The Herald News talks Garnett to the Bulls and refers to KG as one of "the NBA's most gifted and coolest players."
