Updates Part II
Britt Robson/On The Ball comments on some of the younger players and potential roster changes:Bujt what about Davis and Blount? What they did to the team and their own reputations--not to mention Wittman--last season is not easily forgotten. If one or both is still on the roster come opening day, there needs to be a dramatically different dynamic at play. Otherwise, the Wittman rehire and the stand pat on corrosive chemistry will stink to high heaven.
Yahoo Sports list Randy Foye and Craig Smith as the top two performers in Wednesday's summer league games.
On Smith:
Smith has improved drastically in just one year. He still is strong and aggressive, but he has added a nice midrange jumper to his game. As evidenced by his 21 points against the Spurs, Smith will be a solid contributor next season for Minnesota.
Christopher Reina/RealGM writes that "sources tell RealGM" that the Wolves are one of the teams who have expressed interest in James Singleton.
According to Euroleague Basketball, the team's 2006 second-round draft pick Loukas Mavrokefalidis just signed a three year contract with Olympiacos.
