Updates Part II

There's no question the Minnesota Timberwolves have been fielding offers for their franchise superstar, and the Mavs made what they considered to be a bonafide trade attempt to acquire him. They did so in the days before the draft, and a plan remained in place to bid on KG after the draft. Do we think the Mavs had (and have) a real shot at getting him? Yep – largely based on the team’s own optimism in our conversations with the braintrust. But we also know other teams have been in the mix, meaning there's a lot of ways the T-wolves can choose to go with this.
