In a strange twist, Howard was suspended one game during the 2005-06 season for shoving a basketball into a player's face. That player? Mike James, then with Toronto.

Timberwolves general manager Jim Stack was in Europe last week scouting for the June 28 draft.

Coach Randy Wittman said the Timberwolves will be aggressive in changing the roster this summer, but regarding trades, "it takes two to tango."
