Vice president of basketball operations Kevin McHale said talks of potential trades will heat up a bit after the lottery. Things will continue to get busy after the league's pre-draft camp in Orlando in early June.

Foye, Rashad McCants and Craig Smith - the trio the Wolves plan to build with around Kevin Garnett -have been working out regularly at Target Center. Foye, McCants and Smith, plus Wolves draft picks, will play for their summer team in the Las Vegas league July 5-15 in Las Vegas.
University of Minnesota men's basketball coach Tubby Smith and longtime pal Dwane Casey, the former Timberwolves coach, had lunch in Minneapolis two weeks ago, when Casey strongly recommended Vince Taylor for an assistant's job Smith had open. Smith hired Taylor this week.
