Updates Part II

Memphis Commercial Appeal on the Grizzlies' Stromile Swift:
Griz president Jerry West disparaged any notion that a healthy and happy Swift can be had in a trade as has been rumored since coach Mike Fratello was fired. But the Grizzlies' unwillingness to part with Swift hasn't prevented teams such as Boston, Minnesota and Sacramento from making offers, however feeble, over the past two weeks.

Randy Foye on Mark Blount:
"Everybody looks at it like, 'Man, Mark's been stepping up the last few games,' " rookie Randy Foye said. "But since I've been here, he's been doing that every day in practice. You can't leave him open. He's just knocking down shots from every angle, everywhere. That's Mark.''

From Mike Kahn/Fox Sports:
Give Garnett and Casey credit for keeping everything together as everything else appeared to crumbling around them.
