Wolves 103, Rockets 99 OT

Indeed, the Wolves set a franchise record by winning their third-consecutive overtime game, emerging from the Target Center on Sunday afternoon with a 103-99 victory over the Houston Rockets. All five starters scored in double figures for Minnesota, who jumps Denver in the Northwest Division standings for second place at 17-15.

KG on Mark Blount's 21 points and 10 rebounds:
"He's been making it easier," Garnett said of Blount, who averaged 18 points in his last eight games.


"Three overtimes in a row isn't really what we want, but we'll take it any kind of way that we can get it," said Garnett, speaking of the victory being the bottom line.

"I think we're playing well right now," concluded Garnett, whose team now trails only Utah in the division. "We're winning games with our defense, which is a good thing."
