Wolves Updates 12/10

From the Star Tribune:
There is a growing sense around the league that NBA Commissioner David Stern might soon authorize a switch back to the old leather basketball, shelving the new synthetic versions at least until further testing can be completed. The Wolves shipped their remaining supply of leather balls to Spalding on Friday, as directed by the league, to have them checked out to see whether they're game-worthy.

Randy Foye was asked if the A.I. rumors were "unsettling" to him:
"Not at all. Everything's the same. It's crazy, but I don't want to worry about it. Whatever happens is up to management."

Coach Casey thinks that two weeks Mad Dog's estimated he'd be out "sounds extreme."

Jim Souhan makes a list of potential candidates for the U of M coaching position and includes some names from the Wolves organization.

Coach Casey on KG dealing with trade speculation:
"Every city we go to, he gets hit with it," Casey said. "He usually doesn't respond. It doesn't faze him. It's complimentary because so many teams seem to feel he's the missing piece."
