Hartman: Wolves Making A Bid For Iverson

According to Sid Hartman, the Wolves are "making a strong bid to make a trade" for Allen Iverson.

"They are going to trade him to somebody," McHale said. "We are one of the teams talking to them."

Despite owner Glen Taylor's comments about the trade not working out financially, Hartman said to "look for Taylor to approve the trade if McHale can work out the figures."

Hartman also mentions that McHale and Sixers president Billy King have a "good relationship."

In terms of some of the players potentially involved, Hartman said "rumors have" Randy Foye, Eddie Griffin, Ricky Davis and Troy Hudson going to the Sixers.

Philadelphia's Daily Local acknowledges that reports list the Wolves as one of the team interested in Iverson but thinks the team "lacks one thing the Sixers might be looking for -- a first-round pick in this year's draft..."
