Wolves Updates 7/2

From Sid Hartman:
The Timberwolves summer league team will practice July 6-8 in Las Vegas and then play five games in seven days. Wolves coach Randy Wittman will be watching in the stands while his assistants coach the team.

From Sean Deveney/Sporting News:
Deals for PFs Kevin Garnett and Jermaine O'Neal did not go down before draft day, but that doesn't mean they're dead. "I would expect all that to start going again by the end of July," says one general manager. The Timberwolves have resolved to trade Garnett, though the possibility of sending him to Phoenix looks dimmer -- the Suns won't give up PF Amare Stoudemire.

From Tom Powers/Pioneer Press:
The Timberwolves, featuring Kevin Garnett, were solid, too. Today, with Garnett on his way out, the Wolves join the Vikings as the two most faceless organizations in town.
