Updates Part II

Jerry Brown/East Valley Tribune on why Suns GM Steve Kerr was in Minneapolis this weekend:
Turns our Kerr was in the Twin Cities for his daughter’s volleyball tournament, not to discuss any seven-team deals involving Garnett and Amaré Stoudemire with Timberwolves general manager Kevin McHale.

Cecil Joyce/The Tennessean with an article on hometown hero Corey Brewer being drafted.

Charley Rosen/Fox Sports on potential deals for Garnett.

From Mike McGraw/Daily Herald:
A Garnett trade isn’t a slam-dunk for the Bulls, since they appear to have a bright future without him. But it’s something Paxson will have to strongly consider this summer.

From Adam Zagogoria/Herald News:
Nash also said he was doubtful that the Suns would actually trade star forward Amare Stoudemire (who ran his own Nike Big Man Academy in Phoenix) for Kevin Garnett of the Minnesota Timberwolves.

"I think that those things are all talk," he said. "Big trades these days are so difficult to pull off. Every team at this stage of this season is going to be open to talking about things, but the reality is there's probably not a lot in it."
