Wolves Updates 6/22

From the AP:
Today, Florida guard Taurean Green and Texas A-And-M guard Acie Law were among the group of five players who were evaluated at the team's practice facility.

According to Draft Express, David Teague is working out for the team on June 25.

From Kwame JC McDonald/Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder:
The Minnesota Timberwolves are setting themselves up for failure. An all-White coaching staff will not cut it in today's NBA.

This is not a criticism of each coach who happens to be White. This is to recognize that Randy Wittman's sanitized approach to 2007-08 basketball will fail, and fail miserably...

From the Post-Bulletin:
Friday at 1 p.m. , the Rochester Athletic Club will play host to a meeting with Wolves power forward Mark Madsen. His presentation, ''Life in the NBA'' will take place in the multi-purpose room and will be free to the public.

Over at the Fanhouse, RandBall lists Garnett at #2 among Minneapolis' top 5 athletes.

From Charley Walters/Pioneer Press:
The Timberwolves say their full season-ticket renewal rate is nearly 80 percent.
