Juwan Howard to steal from the team's future

In what had to have been the most anti-climactic press conference ever, the Wolves introduced Juwan Howard to the media last night. (Click here for video.)

According to Rick Alonzo/Pioneer Press, Howard "probably will end up wearing jersey No. 5," the number worn by Craig Smith, one of the team's proclaimed building blocks of the future.

"I'm a 13-year veteran," said Howard, introduced to the Twin Cities media at a press conference Wednesday. "Craig Smith, well, he's still a rookie right now. Him and I will have to get together to see what we can do to work on that jersey No. 5."

Stephen Litel notes that McHale said this was going to start "a bad domino effect."
McCants is going to move and then Craig wants number 1. There are a lot of people who want different numbers.
