Wolves Updates 6/12

The pic on the left is of little Isabella Marchetti, the youngest Wolves fan in Japan.

Herbert Hill, Chris Richard and Anthony Tolliver worked out for the team at the Target Center on Monday.

From Rick Alonzo/Pioneer Press:
McHale noted Hill's improving skills, Tolliver's shooting touch and Richard's willingness to accept his role.

Forwards and centers make up five of the first seven players the Wolves have evaluated this so far. This latest group doesn't include any projected first-rounders.

LSU's Glen Davis cancelled his scheduled workout because, according to Alonzo, "he apparently considered his stock too high for the Wolves, who won't consider him with their No. 7 pick."

Kevin McHale spoke to reporters about the team's draft needs after Monday's workouts.

From Chad Ford/ESPN:
Representatives from every NBA team, including Mavericks president Donnie Nelson, Rockets GM Daryl Morey, Raptors assistant GM Maurizio Gherardini, and Wolves GM Jim Stack, are back for the fifth annual Reebok Eurocamp in Treviso, Italy.

The Eurocamp, run by Timberwolves scout Pete Philo, has become the gold standard for NBA draft camps. Once again it's chock full of talent, for both this draft and next year.

You Been Blinded speculates that Garnett was one of the Western Conference players rumored to have been offered to Portland for the #1 pick in the draft. (Via Ballhype)

From Charley Walters/Pioneer Press:
The Timberwolves' No. 21 Kevin Garnett jersey is not among the NBA Store's top 15 best sellers. Top seller is the Lakers' Kobe Bryant's No. 24.
