Lottery countdown

Owner Glen Taylor on tonight's lottery:
"I don't have any good feelings about it," he said. "That hasn't been our history. I just hope by the luck of the draw that we don't back up too far, to ninth or something, with those teams getting ahead of us. And that could happen."

Kent Youngblood/Star Tribune talks about the team's lottery chances with an astrologer ("the stars indicate a major disappointment..."), a math professor ("...every single team in the lottery, except for the top two, has a better chance to move down than move up"), and a powerball winner ("just go with the flow and things will work out.").

Peter Schrager/Fox Sports writes that if the Wolves get the #1 pick, they should look to pair Greg Oden with KG.

From Rick Alonzo/Pioneer Press:
Oden's presence also would have far-reaching implications in other ways. Garnett, who can opt out of his contract after next season, might feel more optimistic about the direction of the franchise.
