Wolves Updates 6/16

According to Sid Hartman, the "word is that Wolves free agent point guard Marcus Banks is headed for the Los Angeles Lakers."
Hartman also believes that the Wolves might try for a higher draft pick in order to get Adam Morrison.

Along with Patrick O'Bryant and Torin Francis, the Wolves will be holding workouts today with some "foreign prospects."

From the New York Post:
Look for Timberwolves GM Jim Stack, a Pacers assistant under Isiah Thomas, to assume a lot of the same duties in New York when Brown leaves and the team president takes over as coach.

Paul Pierce on how he would use the Celtics draft pick:
"I'd find a way to use that seventh pick to get a guy like a Kevin Garnett, a Jermaine O'Neal, somebody. At least explore it."

Coach Casey on J.J. Redick's DWI:
"I don't think that's going to hurt him," Casey said of Redick's arrest. "From what I know, he's a good kid."
