Wolves Updates 6/9

The Orlando Sentinel reports that the Magic (No. 11) is trying to trade up in the draft and the Wolves' pick (No. 6) is one in which they might be interested.

SI.com pairs sports stars with characters from Lost.
Garnett is matched up with Jack Shepherd:
Dr. Jack has been a leader from Day 1; his combination of skills (from medicine to marksmanship) are unmatched. Still, he's a control freak. The talented KG is the Timberwolves' franchise player and hardest worker. While his public persona is friendly, ask former teammate Wally Szczerbiak what happens to those who don't toe his line.

The Wolves Dance Team is holding auditions next month. Passing a drug test seems to be part of the deal which gives me much more respect for these ladies. It never occurred to me that the enthusiasm they displayed was completely second nature.

From The Pioneer Press:
Timberwolves general manager Jim Stack will be a head coach at a European tryout camp in Italy. Former Gopher J.B. Bickerstaff, who is an assistant for the Charlotte Bobcats, will be an assistant at the Italy camp.

The Seattle Times on Brandon Roy:
He also has a workout scheduled with Minnesota (No. 6) on June 18. Timberwolves coach Dwane Casey is thought to be a big fan of Roy since his time as a Sonics assistant.
