McCants Out For At Least 4 Months

A loud "Uff Da" was heard coming from the Target Center as The Wolves announced that Rashad McCants had undergone microfracture surgery on his right knee on Friday and is expected to miss the next 4-6 months.
For reference, this is the same surgery that caused Amare Stoudemire to miss the bulk of last season.
In other words, this is not good news, especially considering that McCants was one of the team's top scorers, holder of the franchise rookie record from the 3 point range, and a player who showed considerable improvement by the end of the season.
Since this more than likely decreases his trade value, I hope that the "4-6 month" rehab time means that it'll be an extra special Thanksgiving for the Wolves. I won't hold my breath, though.
