From Frank Hughes/The News Tribune:The Rockets plan to talk with the Minnesota Timberwolves about swapping veteran forward Juwan Howard for scoring point guard Mike James, who enjoyed two of his best seasons in Houston before going to Toronto.

The Rockets are staying in Orlando over the weekend -- along with seven other teams, including the Celtics, Timberwolves, Kings, Mavs and Pacers -- to conduct three huge workouts on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
The participants include nine players not at the predraft camp: Jason Smith, Sean Williams, Ante Tomic, DeVon Hardin, Morris Almond, Wilson Chandler, Arron Afflalo, Kyrylo Fesenko and Marcus Williams.

"This is where I'm from. This is where I grew up," Hassell said while stretching after the game. "This is where they hoop at now. I'm trying to get back in shape."
The Wolves have announced the team's summer league schedule:
This year's format features a 55-game schedule over a 10-day span in which the Wolves will play four games. Minnesota will open against New Orleans, on July 9 (7:30 p.m. CDT).
The Wolves will follow that contest with games against San Antonio (July 11 at 3:00 p.m.), the Los Angeles Clippers (July 12 at 9:30 p.m.) and Memphis (July 14 at 5:00 p.m.). The game against the Grizzlies will be broadcast on NBA TV.
Stephen Litel and Doogie will be talking Wolves at 5pm on Sunday on KFAN.
According to Steve Bulpett/The Boston Herald, the Celtics' assistant coach opening "has been discussed" with former Wolves coach Dwane Casey.
