Ian Whittell/ESPN.com on the Euroleague Final Four and CSKA Moscow's veteran point guard, Theo Papaloukas:
Although Papaloukas turns 30 Tuesday, his representatives have let it be known that "three or four" NBA teams have expressed a strong interest in the CSKA guard. The Los Angeles Clippers, Minnesota Timberwolves and Dallas Mavericks are said to be on the interested list.

T-Hud was at the Kentucky Derby this weekend:
Basketball player Troy Hudson bet on Sam P. for a variety of personal reasons. His grandmother's name is Sam, and the horse's number was 13; Hudson's birthday is March 13.
"It's a no-brainer," he said on Friday night.
Alas, Saturday, he didn't fare so well. But, "It was my first time being there, so that was the highlight of my day," said the Minnesota Timberwolves guard. "I'm not really a gambling person anyway."

From Sam Smith/Chicago Tribune:
And would Minnesota now swap Garnett for Nowitzki? That would give Dallas the tough guy they feel they need after shriveling up for the Warriors, and it would give the Timberwolves a star and a good guy.
