T-Hud's contract bought out

Something that will offer at least some consolation...

From Kent Youngblood/Star Tribune:
Meanwhile, Bill Neff, the agent for point guard Troy Hudson, said he had reached a verbal agreement with the Wolves to buy out his contract for approximately 80 percent of the $12.256 million owed him over the next two seasons.

"It's bittersweet for Troy," Neff said. "Because this is the team that signed him. He felt strongly about Mr. Taylor and about the fans. He felt strongly about Kevin Garnett, too, but he's leaving. But he was stuck in jail here and this is the get-out-of-jail-free card."
