Kevin Garnett Court

Habitat for Humanity is still building homes for victims of Hurricane Katrina in Jackson, MS. The following is about 10 homes the organization built there in a week last year:

In just a week Habitat for Humanity volunteers turned the block empty lots into a beautiful neighborhood on what is now named Kevin Garnett Court. Now a year later, the families in these homes are living in hope.

In November 2005, Garnett donated over $1 million dollars to help build new homes for people displaced by the hurricane.
