Wolves Updates 6/30

From Peter Vescey/The New York Post:
I don't care what you've heard or read, the Timberwolves have no intention of trading Kevin Garnett at this time. Every GM that's called to inquire about what it would take to get him was told the same thing - take a hike. Minnesota's position is not expected to waver unless the team gets off to a sickly start next season.

Vincent Grier will be playing for the Heat's summer league team while former Iowa basketball player Greg Brunner will be playing for the Wolves in the summer league.

From the Strib:
Before McCants' mother got to town to help him mend from the June 16 surgery, the Wolves guard stayed for a few days at Kevin Garnett's house.
"That was more heart-warming for me than anything, because he didn't have to do it," McCants said.
So did the perennial All-Star fetch lunch and ice bags?
Said McCants: "He didn't like none of that. He kind of kicked me out after a couple of days, like, 'Nah, I'm not gonna be doing this all day.' "

Loukas Mavrokefalidis, one of the Wolves second round picks, is expected to continue playing in Greece for one more season.
