KG Averaging 39.5 Minutes Per Game
Timberwolves coach Dwane Casey said coming into this season that he planned to reduce Kevin Garnett's playing time to 36 to 38 minutes a game.But as the season's halfway mark approaches, Garnett is averaging 39.5 minutes, more than he did in each of the past two seasons. Even in a game that appeared out of hand Friday night, a 103-89 victory over the Denver Nuggets, Garnett still played 40 minutes.
