Updates Part II

From Ken Berger/Newsday:
"Minnesota is not trading Kevin Garnett for the fifth pick in the draft and a bunch of expiring contracts," a league source said. "I'm sorry, but whoever has the fifth pick is not selling another ticket for next season."

From Jerry Brown/East Valley Tribune:
The Suns are still intrigued by the prospect of acquiring the Minnesota Timberwolves’ Kevin Garnett but will not deal Amaré Stoudemire to make it happen.

From David Aldridge/Philadelphia Inquirer:
"He would go to either team in L.A., either the Lakers or the Clippers," said another league source who knows Garnett well and did not want to be identified. "But the Clippers don't have enough to do a deal. And he won't mind going to Phoenix because it's just a hop, skip and jump away from L.A."

From Mike Bresnahan/L.A. Times:
Furthermore, there were no conversations of consequence Wednesday between the Lakers and Minnesota Timberwolves regarding Kevin Garnett.

The Grayzone and Mark Rosen each believe it's time for Garnett to move on.
