Wolves Over The Weekend

Click here to listen to part of Sludge and Lake's interview with Rashad McCants. He talks about getting encouragement and advice from Jason Kidd and says he wants to be ready to play again by the Bobcats game on Jan 1. He also claims to beat KG and other players when they gather at Garnett's house to play video games.
When asked about the frontcourt, McCants says there shouldn't be any concern.
McCants also states that people are going to be amazed by KG this season and that this is an MVP year for Garnett.

Steve Aschburner/Star Tribune goes in depth to address the main issues facing the team this season.

Marc Stein lists the Wolves at #20 in his training camp edition of the Power Rankings.

Coach Casey says that T-Hud's ankle is holding up and that he's "doing everything he did before he got hurt last season."

From the New York Daily News:
The bigger story in Minnesota remains Kevin Garnett's future. Although he has told a few teammates privately that he'd like to be dealt to a winning team, he hasn't gone public with a trade demand and other long-time friends aren't so sure he wants out.
"One thing I've learned about Kevin, from over the years, being with him and Adidas, is that he is a very loyal person," said Tracy McGrady, this past week in Manhattan. "I saw Kevin a lot over the summer, doing stuff for Adidas, and I don't think he will go anywhere. He's a real loyal guy."
